We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate practitioner to join the Senior team within our 3-5yr playroom. All applicants must hold a minimum qualification of HNC in Early Years and have at least two years of experience working with 3-5 year olds. Applicants must have a sound knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence, Realising the Ambition, as well as other relevant Early Years documents. 

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for a team of 4 Practitioners to deliver flexible, high quality and inclusive early learning and childcare within the 3-5yr playroom. As an effective leader within the playroom, you are required to possess excellent communication and leadership skills. 

Other roles and responsibilities will include; 

• the overseeing of the day-to-day running of the playroom 

• lead role in planning, organisation, delivery and evaluation of appropriate learning experiences. 

• promotion and implementation of all nursery policies 

• the maintenance and nurture of positive relationships with our families 

• contribution to an ethos which promotes positive behaviour, equality and fairness 

• an active role in the management team
